For years I’ve wanted an oil that gives me just the scent of roses with nothing to interfere with that hit; no base tones or middle notes to dilute it, just roses. We called this ‘True Rose’ because it is just that, a true rose aroma.

Thanks Lisa. It’s hard to find a true rose fragrance but i think K cracked it with this one as it really does smell like a great big bunch of summer roses in mid bloom.

To me, this is everything you want from a scent. I have the LV version of their rose perfume but this is SOO close to it I made it up as a fragrance to wear. It’s my favourite for candles and melts.

I love flowers & the scent of them, so it stands to reason I would be drawn to the True Rose fragrance oil. Well, all I can say is that it smells more like roses than the roses I bought from a certain supermarket. I think this DCS version may well draw in a younger generation to admire what was once thought of as an old fashioned fragrance. Maybe it’ll now become modern again…
